Barbara Hardy-Garr

Reverend Mother Barbara Hardy Garr brings 35 years of public health experience. She has given her broad knowledge to multiple positions, including as Supervisor of Vital Records and Principal Office Associate for the New York City Department of Health. After retiring to focus on her full-time ministry of prayer, Mother Barbara was ordained in 1984 and currently operates as a minister at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, soon to be Foundation Church. She can often be found sharing an encouraging word for those seeking to grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. Moved by Relume’s mission to spread light and hope to impoverished communities, Mother Barbara joined the Relume team in 2014 and continues to inspire her colleagues daily.
